a testimony =)

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

Hello everyone. I’m Larissa. I’m currently in form 4.This particular verse was my guide during my PMR last year. Whenever I felt afraid or worried, I would just open the Bible and read this powerful verse and the peace of God would just flow through me. God has been so wonderful to me. He had blessed me with such wonderful results. Well last year was a very busy year for me. I was to face a major examination at the end of the year. I was participating in one of the biggest musical production Agape Gospel Assemble ever took on. I was also actively involved in school where I was the head of my class and also a member of my state level champion school choir. I prayed to God that the choir state level competition date would not clash with the PMR trials, and guess what, it didn’t. God answered each and every prayer of mine. All I had to do is just have faith. Besides that, I can still remember the night before the first day of PMR. I was so scared. So I decided to read Philippians 4:6 and just humble me down before the LORD. And all of a sudden I could just feel the peace of God. I know that He was there that very moment. I could just feel His presence. He calmed my heart. The next day I walked in the hall with faith and no fear. The wonderful thing about it was that only the questions I knew and what I prayed for came out for the examination. Isn’t He marvelous!! I would just like to encourage the students to never give up and know that God will always be by your side. But do not be deceived by the simplicity of ALL PRAY AND NO WORK. I did my part with the Holy Spirit always by my side. I also want to encourage us students to never give up time for God at the expands of studying or extra curriculum activities at school. It is a blessing to be found in the house or God serving Him, honoring Him and worship Him. In everything we have to put God first. Priorities Him. I would like to conclude by saying that God will always be watching over us. Just call upon His name and He will be there and will never ever let you go. HAVE FAITH AND DO TRUST HIM FOR HE IS THE ONE AND ONLY ALMIGHTY GOD!! GOD BLESS!!
